An open, curated method for assessing AVD environments: what to collect, how to judge it, what good looks like and how to score it. A research index that links out to published sources.
Being specified
Personal project. Research and learning only. Not for production. No warranty.
Built on my own time for research and learning. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by my employer or Microsoft.
Don't run any of it in production or against tenants that matter. Test in a dedicated lab subscription and tenant first.
Provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, under each repo's license. You use it at your own risk and own the Azure charges it incurs.
Contributions and forks are welcome and encouraged. See Contribute.
What it does
Four methods: collection (what to collect and how private each fact is), assessment (how to judge it against published recommendations), targets and benchmarks (what good looks like, as numbers with sources) and scoring (how outcomes roll up).
Every step cites a published source pinned to a commit or dated version, an observation from a real run, or a gap: method written only where no source covers it.
Methodology only. Nothing here calls Azure; avd-current-state implements the collection and assessment methods, and the second brain cites them.
No copied guidance and no estate data: a claim ID and one line in our own words, and observations link to public evidence.
